Almighty Lord and God, we pray for our sisters and our brothers in Venezuela. Look down, Lord, on their suffering and anguish caused by the wrong decisions of politicians. Do not turn your gaze away from them, but fill their hearts with courage and the desire to act in your land. May they not surrender the hope that is in Your Beloved Son Jesus Christ, who was, is and will be the same for ever and ever. Give them, O Lord, steadfastness and constancy in faith. May Thy righteousness dwell in their hearts and transform their lives. May Thy Spirit rest upon them and cause peace to reign in their hearts and mutual love to triumph in that land. Amen
