Prayer for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein

O God, our Father, we thank You for the beauty of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, these countries full of mountains, lakes and picturesque landscapes. We thank You for their inhabitants, diverse in religion, language and culture, but at the same time united in their search for peace and the common good.
We ask You to grant them the wisdom to develop their communities, strengthening ties between different religious or ethnic groups. May existing differences become a source of mutual enrichment, and may mutual respect be the foundation of their societies.
Bless also the Lutherans of the Federation of Evangelical Lutheran Churches of Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Let their faith in Christ be a source of hope and love for all who seek Him. May Your Holy Spirit fill their hearts with love, patience and understanding for others.
All this we ask in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
