Prayer for Netherlands
We thank you for the Protestant Church in the Netherlands.
Oh God, who is the source of love and inspiration for the Church, we come to you in prayer for the Netherlands and its people. We thank you for this country, which is a home to various nationalities, cultures, and faiths, where people learn every day how to live in peace.
We thank you for the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, which serves as a gathering place and community for over 1.73 million faithful. Help the Lutherans in the Netherlands to be a sign for those seeking meaning in life and in need of your guidance.
God, we also ask that all people, regardless of their beliefs or religion, find a way to engage in dialogue, mutual respect, and acceptance. Help us overcome our differences and build a community based on love and mutual respect.
Grant us wise religious and political leaders in Poland and the Netherlands, so that their decisions are made with love, justice, and compassion, caring for the well-being of all citizens, regardless of their origin or faith.
Dear Father, we ask for your blessings upon the Netherlands and all its inhabitants. May this country be a place where every person can find love, understanding, and acceptance.
Strengthen our community and help us be a sign of your love for one another on Earth.
We ask this through Jesus Christ. Amen.
