Prayer for Lithuania

Today, we want to pray for Lithuania, its inhabitants, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lithuania. We thank You for this beautiful country with which we are connected through a shared history.

We express gratitude for the Lithuanians, for their openness, and their willingness to create a diverse community. Bless their efforts towards mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation.

In particular, we thank You for our brothers and sisters from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lithuania. Bless their testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, support their service in society, their readiness to proclaim the Gospel, and their commitment to helping those in need. May the Holy Spirit guide them at every stage of their journey.

Lord, we ask for good relations between Poles and Lithuanians. May our nations strive for peace in Europe and around the world. Illuminate the hearts of people to seek peace, understanding, and collaboration. Teach us how to forgive and support one another.

Hear us through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen
