Dear God, we pray today for our Sisters and Brothers in Brazil. We give thanks that you are calling people there to Your Church.
We ask You to bless their ministry, so that they may have the courage to be a witness to Your love in a changing world. Surround with Your protection people in poverty and those who are seeking their place in the world. Grant, Lord, that the widespread brutality of daily life will not take its toll among the innocent.
We pray, Lord, that you give wisdom and humility to all messengers, so that your Gospel may nourish the hearts of all people in the world.
Bless the ministry among the poor and excluded, who daily face rejection and stigmatization. Above all, may Your love bring people closer to You and to each other. Amen
