Prayer for Argentina

Holy God, merciful Father, we thank you for our Sisters and Brothers in South America. Especially for the Evangelical Church of La Palata River and the United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Argentina.

We join them in our prayers and community of faith in Jesus Christ the Savior. In addition to faith, we are united by common values and the same Christian culture. As a family of God’s children, we remember each other and see in our spiritual siblings in Argentina the face of the Savior of the world and Your divine Face. We regret that being on continents far away from each other, we can so rarely meet in person.

We ask you Lord, God, Creator of the world and of man, give us sensitivity and compassion for the fate and problems of all our neighbors. Help us find good solutions to the difficult issues of social and personal existence of the churches in Argentina and in all other places in the world. We adore you for the work of your creation and ask for forgiveness for our selfishness. Turn our egoism into liking, accepting and loving all Your children. Amen
