Ecumenical New Year Meetings take place each year in January. This year’s meeting took place on January 16th in the Lutheran Center in Warsaw and gathered a large group of people engaged in the ecumenical movement and public life in Poland.

Around 20 parishes in Poland took part in the project “Bells for Aleppo”. Between 12th and 24th October hundreds of churches across the world were ringing funeral bells to draw attention to the suffering Syrian city of Aleppo.

The official opening of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation took place 31st of October in Jesus Church in Cieszyn.
Due to the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, from October 2016 to October 2017 various events are going to be organized in Poland.
In the spring of 2016, the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland donated nearly 70 thousand PLN to help refugees.
