From September 10th to 19th, daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM – open days in the church including streaming of the proceedings LWF Assembly.

10th September

Sunday Service in St. Martin’s Church at 10.00 AM
­Prayers and readings in different languages, after the service: opening an outdoor exhibition in Studzińskiego Square, church café, and refreshments in the small courtyard next to the church building.

11th September

Debate in the Church at 6.00 PM – „Religion in the Public Space – A Destructive Force or a Chance for a Better Tomorrow”

  • Adam Bodnar, former Polish Ombudsman, lawyer committed to defending freedom,
  • Marcin Hintz, Professor of Evangelical Theology at the Christian Academy of Theology, Bishop of the Diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland, Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland,
  • Dominika Kozłowska, President of the “Znak Social Publishing Institute”,
  • Grażyna Kubica-Heller, professor of social sciences at the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University, scholar of Polish Protestantism,
  • Adam Michnik, anti-communist opposition activist and founder of the newspaper “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
  • The debate will be moderated by Adam Szostkiewicz, editor of the weekly magazine “Polityka”.
