The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) will hold its Thirteenth Assembly from 13 to 19 September in Krakow, Poland. The host Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland (ECACP) has organized pre- and post-Assembly visits, as an opportunity to learn about the historical context of ECACP, its work in society including the contribution to peace and reconciliation, and about the country’s rich history. The visits are open to all assembly participants. The itinerary includes the church’s diaconal work in parishes and local communities, ECACP’s collaboration with the LWF in supporting refugees from Ukraine and Poland’s historical sites. The cost for each package or ‘Option’ includes local travel, accommodation and meals.
