Prayer for Zambia

God of grace and peace! We come to you today asking for your blessing on the citizens of Zambia. We thank You for this beautiful country and its magnificent nature and the diversity of its people. Give them the strength to work together to act for those who need help and support. Let them know that diversity is a gift and an opportunity which, if we recognise it, broadens our horizons and opens us up to others.

Thank you to all those involved in Lutheran parishes, for their openness and service to the sick and those in need. We thank you for the work of women, for their witness to your love for their neighbour.  Strengthen and support them, giving them wisdom and encouragement each day. Amen
