Prayer for Thailand

Dear Father, we pray today for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Thailand and its believers. God, you can see that Thailand is a country full of diversity, where many ethnic and religious groups live and Christians are a minority. Help this small Lutheran Church in Thailand to carry out its mission so that it can reach out to those who do not know Your name.
We thank You, Lord, for the priests and spiritual leaders who serve in the Church in Thailand. Give them strength and wisdom to strengthen their mission in this country full of challenges and dangers such as terrorism, smuggling and political unrest. May their word become a hope for a better tomorrow for the Thai people.
We ask You that the Lutheran Church in Thailand may continue its mission with full commitment and dedication, so that its activities may contribute to the growth of the number of followers of Your name in this country. May Your love and grace always accompany them on their journey.
We lay all this before You, Lord, in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
