Prayer for Taiwan

Dear God, Our Father,
we thank you for your grace that you give us and for the love with which you surround us. We are grateful for Your Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again to give us eternal life.
We thank You for the Lutheran Churches in Taiwan and for the people who make up these communities.

We ask You, that You guide them with Your Holy Spirit and help them follow Christ every day. Bless the parishes and pastors, that they may boldly proclaim Your Word and be ready always to bring help to those in need. May the faith of the Taiwanese people be alive and fruitful. We also ask You to bless Taiwan and its people. May peace, justice and love be prevalent in this country, and people of different faiths and cultures live in harmony and mutual respect.

Give us the strength and courage to always remain faithful to Your will and follow Christ in our our daily lives. Amen.
