Prayer for Sweden
We want to thank You for the Lutheran Church in Sweden.
Gracious and merciful God! Together with all the churches gathered in the Lutheran World Federation, we want to thank You for the Lutheran Church in Sweden.
We thank You for all those who continue to abide in the teachings of the Apostolic Church and are faithful to Your Word and the Lord Jesus. They show their engagement in Church by helping other people, including Poles. We come to You to ask You to bless this Church.
Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon all those who stand in its service, so that their witness may be effective first and foremost through their action for those most in need. With the power of the Holy Spirit, may the Word transform the hearts and minds of those who place their trust in their abilities and wealth, rather than in God and in God’s Word. Amen.
