Prayer for Serbia

Gracious and loving Heavenly Father, today we commend Serbia to Your guidance.

It is a country where ethnic, religious, and political tensions have historically caused unrest and conflict. Therefore, we pray for internal peace and the easing of tensions that could once again bring destruction and human suffering to the Balkans.

Merciful Father, we also entrust to You the small Lutheran community in Serbia. May its presence and activities in the country contribute to the building of peace, mutual understanding, and reconciliation.

Bless abundantly, especially those efforts that bring the warmth and light of Your love, healing recent wounds, and leading to emotional and spiritual healing throughout the region. Amen.
