Prayer for Philippines
Almighty God, we come to You together with the Lutherans of the Church in the Philippines. We thank You for Your protection and Your guidance for them. We thank You that Your Word touches and moves their hearts so that they can grow in faith and give You glory.

We ask that You fill their hearts with love, joy, hope and peace! That they may grow in their faith and build themselves on the foundation of Your Word. Please, bless their evangelization-missionary, deaconess and educational work in their parishes, since they do so much for youth, children and all those in need. Bless them and guide them so that they may be the salt of the earth and a shining light among all other denominations and religions.
Make them carry the banner of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That they may spread their goodness, faith and love, and be an example that will serve others for spiritual growth. Support them in overcoming all divisions, build bridges of understanding and help them in the spirit of mutual understanding and love to seek your Kingdom. Amen.
