Prayer for Nepal

Our Lord and God, we ask for Your guidance for the people of Nepal. We entrust into Your hands all Christians who live in this Asian country, thanking You for them. 

We ask that You work in the local Evangelical Lutheran Church. Lord move the hearts of the people belonging to this tiny church in terms of the number of believers so that they will have the courage to be a witness of Your name to all the people around them. 

Lord, we also ask you for the internal situation in Nepal, to calm any conflicts that are present in the lives of the people of this country. We ask also for security in this part of the world, socially and geographically. 

Lord, act also in the hearts of people who have not yet come to know You, so that they may have the opportunity, to see in the person of Jesus Christ their Savior and the source of all strength and hope to look to the future. Work through Your Holy Spirit so that Your Word will be preached there, and guide Your Church in this part of the world. Amen
