Prayer for Hong Kong

Merciful God, You are the God of the whole world and you love all people.

Today we come before You, asking You to bless our brothers and sisters in faith, the Lutherans who live in Hong Kong.
We thank You for their faith and for raising their children in the spirit of the Gospel.

We ask You to bless them in their ministry, giving them strength and wisdom to proclaim Your Word and to help those in need. May their work bear much good fruit, and may their witness speak to the hearts of many people.

May the Holy Spirit fill their hearts with love and peace, so that in their hardships and joys they may always be faithful to You.

We offer these prayers through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
