Prayer for Honduras

Almighty God, Father, You created us in Your image and spread us all over the Earth. Today we want to pray for a country where there are Christians, but for many reasons it is not easy for them. Honduras is a country that is often hit by disasters and dangerous tropical diseases reign, but also there is pervasive violence, especially against women, and people can daily experience killings.

Please surround the people who live there with your protection, make love for others shine in their hearts, make them understand that with violence and corruption prosperity cannot be achieved. Speak especially to those people whose hearts are insensitive to human poverty, misery and injustice. Take into Your hands all the sick and make the achievements of medicine reach them. Heal not only their soul , but also their body. 

Make more and more people in this country to trust You. So that You would be their greatest authority.  Only people in whose hearts Christ dwells do not seek revenge and do not desire evil for others. Only in You and Your Son is there hope. Amen
