The parish in Wodzislaw Slaski, which belongs to the Diocese of Katowice, has 320 members. It uses the historic former post-Franciscan Holy Trinity Church on Minorite Street. The parish was established in 1776 at the Marusza colony for Protestant settlers. At that time, a wooden church was built in Marusza. which was closed and demolished in 1818. Efforts were launched to build or acquire a new church. This was finally accomplished in 1830 when the Protestant parish received the neglected post-Franciscan church in Wodzislaw for its needs. The parish now regularly holds youth meetings, Sunday school, women’s circle meetings and Bible hours. The parish will host LWF guests together with the Parish in Gołkowice.
