The parish was established in 1908 in Ruptawa. The church is located in the village of Ruptawa. The parish maintains partnerships with Lutheran churches in the United States, including those in Milwaukee and Saint Louis. The parish has about 800 members. Jastrzębie-Zdrój was a health resort from the mid-19th century until the 1990s. In the 1950s, significant coal reserves were discovered here, transforming the town into an urban and industrial centre.
