The Lutheran parish in Istebna, which belongs to the Diocese of Cieszyn, has about 300 members. There are various activities addressed to children, youth men and women. Istebna is a tourist destination located in the Silesian Beskid near the border with the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It includes the upper Olza River valley and the slopes of the surrounding hills.
