Lutheran parish in Cieszyn, part of the Cieszyn diocese. Lutheran parish in Cieszyn, belonging to the Diocese of Cieszyn, has as many as 6,300 members which make it the biggest parish in Poland. The modern administrative term “city of Cieszyn” refers to the right-bank part, which is spatially and socially one entity, of the urban centre, the left-bank part of which belongs to the Czech Republic and bears the official name of Český Těšín. The main church of the congregation is a Jesus Church in Cieszyn but there are also smaller Churches in the neighbourhood of Cieszyn. The congregation is famous for its educational centre. There is a kindergarten, primary school and high school run on the premises of the congregation.
