The Lutheran parish in Brenna, which belongs to the Cieszyn diocese, has about 1,000 members. Brenna itself is located in the valley of the Brennica River (the right tributary of the Vistula). Initially, Lutherans in Brenna belonged partly to the parishes in Skoczow and Ustroń. The cemetery has existed since 1865, and in 1883 the first church and school were established here. The current parish church of Apostle Bartholomew was built in 1985-1988. In parish-run Bible meetings, prayer circles, Women’s circles and youth meetings.
