The church congregation is located in the western part of a picturesque region of Slovakia called Liptov, in the district town Ružomberok. The congregation has 1250 members and unites Lutherans from surroundings small towns within the Ružomberok district. In addition to the worship life in several locations, including care houses and a hospital, the ministry is characterized by regular year-round biblical education for children, teens, youth, and adults. The Lutheran congregation in Ružomberok is engaged in ecumenical relations and in social projects within the hometown.
