Bible Verse for May
To you, O Lord, I cry, for fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and flames have burned
all the trees of the field. Even the wild animals cry to you because the watercourses are dried up. Joel 1: 19-20

Our history
The Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland (ECACP) belongs to the family of Lutheran churches. The name of the Church refers to the Gospel (gr. euangélion) – the Good News about Jesus Christ – and the Reformation’s confession of faith read out in Augsburg to Emperor Charles V in 1530.
The ideas of the Reformation reached Poland only a few years after Martin Luther’s plea.
Today Lutherans make up 0.2% of the Polish society; still, the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession is the third largest Church in Poland.
