    • The Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland doesn't keep in its Central Archiv record books. 

      In general, Lutheran church records in Poland after 1945 have been kept in local parishes.

      This site was launched in 2009 by the Polish State Archives. They feature collections from all over Poland and are continuously being updated.

      Some records are also kept in the Evangelisches Zentralarchiv in Berlin

      Archion is a cooperative project among the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) and the majority of regional protestant churches in Germany. Archion is also open to municipal, communal, and other church archives. The portal makes it possible to search for the ancestors in original sources.
