Education societies

Rapid growth of public schooling system was one of the key socio-educational achievements of the Reformation. The movement contributed significantly to the development of Polish language and education system. Emerging evangelical schools were renowned for high standards of organization and teaching.

Today, Lutheran schools in Cieszyn (, Wrocław (, Bielsko-Biała (, Kraków (, Gliwice ( and Warsaw ( are managed by foundations and societies established in the 1990s.

The idea of teaching is based on Protestant ethos. Students, educated in the spirit of honesty and diligence, are encouraged to think and act in an independent and bold manner.
